Several errors have been reported when the ePrayer module was configured to allow Anonymous Users to post new prayer requests or updates by checking the "All Users" under the "Post" permission column in Module Settings. Although I had initially considered the use case where Anonymous Users could be given "Post" permission, I decided not to support this due to a number of security concerns. Furthermore, since an Anonymous User account does not have an e-mail address, it could not participate in post tracking and other notifications. Unfortunately, I did not block (in PostEPrayer.ascx.vb) an Anonymous User from attempting to submit a new request should the administrator have given "All Users" the "Post" permission in Module Settings. In this case, the Anonymous user can complete a new post or updated post submission form but will cause an error and failure of the submission to be recorded when clicking "Submit".
At the request of someone who downloaded the module and who really does want Anonymous Users to be able to post, I will be reconsidering this decission and will soon be adding this capability. Under no circumstances will the Anonymous User be permitted to delete a post or request that an encouraging e-mail be sent to the subject of the request.
Watch for the availability of an updated module version 04.01.02 in the coming weeks.
